38 EHF, USPHL Teams Vie for Massachusetts and New England Championships

The Massachusetts State and New England District Championships take place this weekend at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

38 teams from the Eastern Hockey Federation, EHF Selects, and United States Premier Hockey League will compete for titles, and automatic qualification to the 2020 USA Hockey National Championships, across five divisions:18U Tier I, 18U Tier II, 16U Tier I, 16U Tier II and 15P Tier I playing in the tournament.

Here’s a rundown of every EHF team’s first tournament game, along with their seeding and overall record (EHF Teams in Bold):


Massachusetts State Championships - 18U Tier I Division

Friday

  • 7:30 p.m.: (12) Boston Bulldogs – EHF Selects (14-0-1-0) vs (5) Cape Cod Whalers – EHF Selects (14-8-3)

  • 8:30 p.m.: (10) Top Gun – EHF Selects (4-5-0) vs (7) GBL Junior Bruins – EHF Selects (11-8-4)


Saturday

  • 2:30 p.m.: (9) East Coast Wizards / (8) Boston Advantage vs (1) Little Bruins – EHF Selects(16-4-3)

  • 3 p.m.: Winner of (10) / (7) vs (2) Boston Junior Eagles – EHF Selects (17-4-4)

  • 5:30 p.m.: Winner of (12) / (5) vs. (3) Eastern Mass. Senators – EHF Selects (10-8-2)
